Digital Image Tool will allow you to make changes to batches of photos, which is undoubtedly its main advantage over other image editors. In this regard, it will allow you to perform batch operations like resizing, tagging, renaming and adding watermarks to images.
This application has a modern-looking interface, with a very neat design. As with other batch processors, it all starts with creating the list of files to transform. At this point, you will be able to preview the added images or modify the list. After this, the most important part will be setting the various modifications, which appear compartmentalized by a series of tabs. Regarding this, you will be able to resize an image by scaling to a definite percentage or setting the desired width and height. Also, you will be able to add your own watermarks to the images. If you prefer, tags with time and date can also be added. Finally, you can rename the selected images applying customized rules.
As a whole, Digital Image Tool may come in handy when you are working with large amounts of photos and you need to make changes to whole batches of them. However, do not expect complex editing procedures. Therefore, if you want to edit just a few images, you will not need this tool as there are some other free utilities available. What is more, if are already using Microsoft Office, you can use an application called Picture Manager for this purpose.
